Nice and cosy small cafe. We stopped for quick breakfast. Coffee was lovely and french toast was good too except the onions taste in the strawberries maybe the same knife was used to cut them.

Atmosphere- loads of windows open. It was pretty cold inside.
Service- three people came to take our order one after the other. Didn't even get a chance to read all 3 menus they gave us. They delivered the dishes one by one. A couple of us finished their food before others got theirs. It was 4 of us.
Food quality. The photo speaks for itself. Those were meant to be poached eggs/ eggs Benedict. The eggs were poached to an inch of their lives and the holandese looked like melted butter drizzled over the eggs.
The garlic and cheese fries looked like they came from a chipper shop when you drunk order them after a night out.

We stopped here like we were going on a blind date. We didn't know what we would find and the small cafe embedded in this small village called Lucan impressed us. Everything was perfect, the waiting time for what was ordered was fast, the super friendly waitresses won my sympathy. Everything was delicious from the coffee to the food. I will definitely come back many times
